Cheryl Denise Bend
Cheryl Denise Bend, affectionately known as “Poopie Hill,” was born to Connie Moore Bend and Evander Bend on January 30, 1973, in Tallahassee, Florida. Cheryl was baptized at the age of five at Richmond Street Seventh Day Adventist Church. Her high school experience began at her beloved FAMU High where she was a cheerleader.

Cheryl and her family relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, in 1988, where they eventually became members of Joint-Heirs Christian Center for a brief period. She transferred to William M. Herring, Sr., where Cheryl served as an active choir member. She recently rededicated her life to Christ on February 12, 2017; her membership was restored and she was placed on District 7, Dea. John Scott III, Leader.

After studies at FSCJ and graduation from Concord Institute, Cheryl found employment in the field of Dentistry, beginning her career with the late Dr. Chester Aikens and later with Dr. Leroy Polite and Associates, under Economy Dentures. Her lengthy dental profession ended with her current employer, Imray and Gesek, DMD, PA, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She also taught courses in the Dental Assistant Training Program for Concord Career Institute.

Cheryl was also known for her dedicated service to the Pop Warner Athletic Program, where she served as a Cheerleading Coach, and also served as a Football Team Mom for the LaVilla and North Jacksonville Sports Association.
